GRUPO TACA (LACSA AIRLINES): The Airline of Costa Rica.

LACSA Airlines is part of Grupo TACA. Sometimes you will be on a LACSA plane and other times a TACA plane, they are one and the same.

The main cities of departure for LACSA & TACA are Boston, New York, Miami, Houston, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Chicago & Washington D.C. Other than Miami, which offers non-stop flights, you will have to stop over in San Salvador, Cancun or Miami.

GRUPO TACA´S long history of serving Latin American travelers, together with the convenient itineraries, solid track record in fleet maintenance, employee training, and brand-new, modern aircraft, place this airline in a strategic position to strengthen and develop the air transportation industry.

Between 1989 an 1992, the airlines that compose GRUPO TACA - AVIATECA, LACSA, NICA, TACA International, and TACA Honduras - entered a cooperative agreement for strategic operations and administration.

This cooperation provides both productivity and efficiency benefits to the affiliated airlines through the coordination of flight schedules and dispatches, fuel purchase, parts inventories, reservation systems, marketing sales efforts, and fleet maintenance.

CONDOR AIRLINES: Germany-Orlando-Costa Rica flights

German carrier Condor, which had stopped operating here in 1997, resumed its weekly flight linking Frankfurt, Orlando, and Costa Rica.

MARTIN AIR: Holland to Costa Rica

Martin Air flies from Amsterdam, Holland with stops in Miami and then on to San Jose Costa Rica. These fares are normally very economical.

IBERIA: Spain to Costa Rica

Iberia flies from Madrid Spain with a stop in Miami and then on to San Jose. These fares are normally very economical.
