Scuba Diving In Costa Rica. If you've already completed the confined water and knowledge development sections of the your Open Water Diver course at home, you can complete your open water training in the marine rich waters of Costa Rica.
Course includes Four Open Water boat dives. In just 2 days you will gain full certification as a Open Water Diver.
You will need to bring your Student Referral Form showing proof of having completed all of theory and confined water pre-requisites. Referral Form must be signed by your instruction no more than one year prior to entering the course.
Referral courses are available from the following scuba diving certification agencies: PADI, NAUI, and SSI. Open Water Skills will be assessed by PADI instructor, but you will be certified by the agency of your referring home instructor.
Minimum age requirement: 10 years of age
Time Needed to Complete Course: Minimum 2 days
Required Medical Release & Liability Release & Assumption of Risk
You will be required to fill out and sign the Medical Liability Release & Assumption of Risk Forms prior to participation.

In addition, if there is any medical condition which would preclude you from diving, you would need your doctor’s signature on the Medical Release Form (signature valid for 12 months).

*Four training dives are conducted under the direct supervision of a PADI certified instructor.
